River Rafting and Floating - Enjoy a lazy 40 minute float (depending on the speed of the river) right off the banks of the RV park down stream to the local municipal park. Inner tubs and paddle boards are great for this short float. Anyone under 16 needs a life jacket.
Put in at Dale Oregon for a multi day float, Make arrangements with Jeremy Boyer to ferry you to your destination. Take out at the RV park, have a shower pitch your tent and rest up prior to heading home.
Fishing - Along the banks of the river you are able to catch Trout, Bass, Salmon, and Crawdads, depending on the season and what running. During the months of June and July, Bass are a great catch.
Hiking - There are various trails to choose from. Many are on the way to the park along Hwy 19. Check out Alltrails.com for a list of easy to difficult trails just out of Kimberly.
History - Just 2 miles from Jct Hwy 26 and Hwy 19 is Cant Ranch; a historical home and museum. This is part of the National Parks and the John Day Fossil Beds. There are many trails and overlooks to enjoy the scenery of the area. Visit NPS.gov/cantranch for more information and operating times.
Morrow County OHV Park - Ride your toy straight our campground right to the OHV Park. About 20 miles up Top Road you will reach the turn for your vehicle. Visit Morrowcountyparks.org/ohv for more information.
Hunting - There are a variety of hunts in the area. If you have a tag. we offer a place for you to stay.
